COVID-19 Crisis Management Team Update 7/10/20

Hello CFC team,

For those who are working at CFC offices, thank you for your ongoing cooperation and understanding with the recent mask mandates. We know that it is such a serious and uncertain time but are noticing that people have the opportunity to “accessorize” with the masks. It has been interesting to see different fun patterns. shopDisney even has several themed sets, and they are SO popular that the masks are on backorder for 2+ months! What a time to be alive when we now have so many options for face coverings!

Yesterday afternoon, Governor Ducey held a press conference for the “Stay Healthy. Safer at Home.” initiative. The message was similar to what we are already hearing: continue to wear a mask when you are out in public and stay at home as much as possible. The governor reminded restaurants that they should be operating indoor operations at 50% or less capacity. Early last week, another Executive Order was issued to dial back some of the business openings, thus operations ceased for bars, gyms, movie theaters, waterparks, and tubing rentals. Large gatherings and special events were also prohibited. All of these actions were in direct mitigation efforts of COVID-19 spikes and increased ICU admissions around the state. HERE are two slides from the governor’s office regarding best practices and activity risk. Please stay safe, everyone. That being said, the services we provide at CFC are essential to our communities and our buildings will continue to remain open and following the guidelines (attached) for wearing masks, washing hands, physical distancing and staying home when one feels ill.

We thank you each for your efforts as we all navigate uncharted waters. Let us continue to lift each other and CFC up in prayer!

Your Crisis Management Team
