CFC has a generous benefit package for all full time employees who regularly work 30 hours per week that includes affordable medical and dental insurance, CFC paid life insurance, AD & D, short and long term disability and other benefits as outlined below. A 403b retirement plan is available to all employees who work over 20 hours per week and CFC provides a matching contribution to encourage our employees to participate. Workers Compensation insurance is provided to all employees.

If you do not enroll on a CFC medical plan you can choose to buy this coverage for $9.93 a month per employee (including dependents).

HEALTH SAVINGS ACCOUNT
Christian Family Care contributes to employee’s HSA accounts and will fund your HSA account at the beginning of the year. Click on the link above to enroll for HSA bank. If you are hired after January your contribution will be pro-rated based on the months left in the year. NOTE: If last day of employment with Christian Family Care ends before the annual HSA contributions are deposited in to the HSA accounts (or you have given official notice to end employment) then employee will receive a monthly prorated contribution during last month worked. The contributions are shown in the chart below.

DEDUCTIBLE REIMBURSEMENT FOR THE HSA PLANS
After the first $1,500 of the deductible, Christian Family Care will reimburse employees and their dependents 80% of the last $4,500 ($3,600) of the deductible for in-network services only. To learn more about what a deductible reimbursement program entails, follow this link to watch an explanatory video.
To receive reimbursement, send an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) and Deductible Reimbursement Form 2023 to FBC Insurance, Benefits & Consulting when you are required to pay a deductible.
When using the FBC app, you will be asked for a plan code.

SHORT TERM AND LONG TERM DISABILITY

EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM SERVICES
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) is a network of services to help you and your household members cope with issues that you experience in everyday life. The EAP, provided by MetLife, also offers short-term confidential counseling, wellness resources and different tools to help you be successful in the workplace. 403(B) RETIREMENT SAVINGS ACCOUNT
All employees at any time of the year, regardless of full time or part time status, may elect to start or change his or her current contribution to a 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan. Employee Savings Plan funds are managed by Sunwest Pensions.
These are the benefits and highlights of CFC’s 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan:
- A benefit available to everyone who works 20 hours or more per week.
- Employee can contribute at the start of employment. Christian Family Care will match up to 3% (per payroll) after 90 days of employment.
- Loring Ward funds are Premier Funds – low cost and available only to select organizations.
- Vested amount of CFC matching funds increases each year of employment up to 5 years, when you will be fully vested.

There are certain contributions that you may change at any time during the year. These include: 403(b) Retirement Savings Plan contributions, Health Savings Accounts (HSA) contributions, and your Charitable Donation to Christian Family Care. Keep in mind that your elective amounts on the form below are deducted per-pay-period.
