EAP and Counseling Resources
We understand that the circumstances surrounding COVID-19 have caused a number of difficulties and stresses to you, your families, and loved ones. We would like to remind our eligible employees that we have an EAP (Employee Assistance Program) available as a resource for you. The benefit, provided by MetLife, offers short-term counseling sessions. Eligibility and further information can be found on the Ten:24 Benefits Page. For those who are looking for a more personal touch and/or a Christian counselor, our wonderful Clinical Services team has provided recommendations for a number of Valley therapists. CARES Act (Economic Stimulus)
At the bottom of this email is an IRS release regarding the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act) or what has otherwise been known as a stimulus plan. You have probably read or seen a lot regarding this stimulus package. The notice below gives a great, direct overview and provides FAQs to help answer your questions.
Employment Verification Letter for Essential Services
We have heard from several employees asking about an employer notification to carry in your car. The Executive Order issued by Governor Ducey this past week specifies “No person shall be required to provide documentation or proof of their activities to justify their activities under this order.” However, we understand that a letter will provide a peace of mind and may be proactive to any future orders released by the state or Federal governments. That being said, attached is a letter you can carry with you to verify your employment with CFC.
In our morning Crisis Management meetings, we continue to pray and thank God that He has his hand on this entire situation. Things feel so uncertain for us, but the Lord knows the exact order of this world and offers reassurance to us at all times, but especially during times like this.
