COVID-19 Crisis Management Team Update 4/22/20

Good afternoon team,

As the Crisis Management Team continues to meet regularly, we have discussed how “reopening” operations might look in the future. We understand that the offices never officially closed, but our two thrift stores remain closed, and a vast majority of employees have been working remotely throughout the organization. As we look at reopening the thrift store and welcoming back employees, we want to put together a plan and process for safe and healthy operations. Thus, we have put together the OneTeam Reunites Task Force to undertake the responsibility of discussing issues and concerns surrounding business operations and the COVID-19 pandemic. This task force is comprised of a small number of agency directors, managers, and supervisors, so if you have feedback, please make sure to share with your supervisor directly.

Also, to continue our tradition of community and camaraderie, our events committee will host OneTeam Connects this Friday, April 24th at noon. Be sure to read the communications regarding these meetings and participate if you can. We ask that you prioritize these important moments of connection with your co-workers, and thus we are requesting ALL staff to join this Teams call (unless you have a pre-approved reason for missing it).

To maintain consistency in our communication, you will see one weekly email from this team. Expect an email on Wednesdays in April and Fridays in May. If there is an urgent development prior to the scheduled email, we will also make sure to address those items as needed.

Thank YOU again for all that you do!

Your Crisis Management Team

(Mark Upton, Pam Giardina, Doug Klingenberg, Jenifer Zylwitis, Gary Miller, Lorina Soza)
