Hello CFC team
If you are following the news or information coming from the various county or state health departments, you know that vaccinations for the COVID-19 virus are well underway. The vaccines began distribution in mid-December and have been steadily administered over the past few months. A few employees have reached out or discussed with their teams/supervisors about wanting to receive or register for the vaccine. Unfortunately, we do not have a good timeline for when the vaccine will be more readily available, and social services is not listed as a specific group under the essential services categories for vaccine distribution. Each county is distributing differently according to supply and their local populations. The Crisis Management Team, however, wanted to reach out to provide information and resources to keep you updated. We are also tracking any important updates that may affect our staff’s ability to register for the vaccination.
Attached is a good overview of the Maricopa County distribution of COVID-19 vaccinations. Each county differs slightly in the labeling of the groups (categories), but they are generally similar. Below is a resource list around the vaccine and distributions.
